Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce instigated the development of the campaign and application for The Towns and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) Resilience and Recovery Fund.

Since the successful award The Chamber has provided senior level project management leadership to deliver the Loves Local campaigns in Bishopbriggs, Bearsden, Dumbarton, Clydebank and Vale of Leven with particular focus on the digital platforms and business engagement. Senior management work directly with Placeity to deliver Loves Local digital platforms.

The Towns and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) Resilience and Recovery Fund, financed by the Scottish Government and administered by Scotland’s Towns Partnership. Placeity is an approved digital supplier to STP.

East Dunbartonshire Council were the authorised body eligible to apply for the Resilience and Recovery Fund for Bishopbriggs and Bearsden platforms and digital marketing. The Council work direct with The Chamber and Placeity to monitor progress with the projects and provide ongoing input.

West Dunbartonshire Council are working closely with The Chamber and are the authorised body through which the application for the Resilience and Recovery Fund for towns was made for Dumbarton, Clydebank and Vale Loves Local projects.

Business Gateway West Dunbartonshire. Management and follow up support for businesses to improve their digital know-how and business skills.

Miconex are providers of Gift Card services, as a private label prepaid Mastercard. They provide their services in many locations throughout the UK and recently expanded into the USA and Canada. Miconex are approved digital suppliers to STP.

Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire. Management and follow up support for businesses to improve their digital know-how and business skills for the Scotland Loves Local campaigns in Bishopbriggs, Bearsden and Milngavie.

Placeity are a specialised team of industry collaborators to deliver and manage the digital solutions for businesses and communities. Placeity are working closely with the Chamber of Commerce to provide practical help to many small businesses during the pandemic. Placeity is an approved STP digital supplier.
